Meet the Team
Margaret Kleinmann, executive director of Solstice Senior Living at East Amherst, brings with her 30 years of experience working in geriatrics in Western New York. Margaret holds significant experience in direct health care delivery and oversight, operational implementation, and executive leadership. Margaret also has expertise in creating public–private partnerships that support the transparency necessary for health care transformation. She has seamlessly built from the ground up multiple geriatric health care communities, including independent living, assisted living and memory care. She leads teams working across multiple health care segments to help residents and families achieve their clinical, operational and financial objectives.
Margaret attended St. John Fisher College, where she earned her B.S. degree in gerontology, followed by attaining her M.S. degree in geriatrics at the University at Buffalo. Margaret is passionate about and committed to putting her residents and their families first here at Solstice Senior Living. She has spent her career involved in associations that keep vigilant in research in Alzheimer’s disease, ALS, Parkinson’s and arthritis. Margaret has consistently built star management teams of professionals who are committed to excellence in care. She leads with compassion and dedication.
She is married, and has two sons and a black Lab pup that keep her busy. She enjoys music, sports, travel and theater.
Sales and Marketing Director
Stephanie Mruczek, sales and marketing director of Solstice Senior Living in East Amherst, brings over 10 years of sales and marketing experience. Stephanie has spent most of her career in both the financial and health care fields. She has tactically implemented and managed many customer relationship management platforms among various forums. She remains strategy-minded and a highly motivated professional with a demonstrated results-oriented mindset aimed at delivering profitable solutions. She is well-organized with extensive experience in leadership and implementation of marketing objectives. Stephanie has a long record of assisting and guiding families with her wealth of knowledge in the senior housing industry. She has always focused on achieving the highest level of satisfaction and well-being of the individuals and families whom she has the privilege of working with.
Outside of the office, Stephanie volunteers for the Parkinson’s Foundation as a support group facilitator. She has also dedicated much of her time volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Ride for Roswell. She is a co-chairman of the networking committee for the Network in Aging of Western New York. Stephanie also currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Network in Aging.
Business Office Director
Katherine Johnson is the business office director at Solstice Senior Living at East Amherst. Katherine has over 20 years of experience working in paralegal services, office management, accounts receivable, human resources and payroll processes. She is a graduate of Niagara County Community College and Bryant and Stratton College. Katherine exemplifies a well-rounded employee with extensive knowledge in policies and procedures. She assists the executive director with operations management and helps provide a positive culture for all to admire. Her knowledge and professionalism help drive forward the sustainable systems put in place here at Solstice Senior Living.
Katherine is a proud mom to two daughters and two mini-dachshunds. She lives in nearby Clarence and has been married for 29 years.
Culinary Services Director
Jesse Thiel previously served as a line cook at Solstice Senior Living at East Amherst before becoming the community’s Culinary Services director. He takes pride in preparing delicious food for residents and lets their feedback drive his culinary creations.
Jesse loves spending time with his spouse, 1-year-old daughter and their puppies.
Vibrant Life Director
Julia Moore is the Vibrant Life® director at Solstice Senior Living at East Amherst. She is passionate about helping seniors reach their life goals and sharing her infectious enthusiasm and creativity. Julia earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree with a double minor in psychology and art therapy from SUNY Buffalo State College.
With a passion for merging creative arts with health care, Julia previously led a variety of meaningful activities and programs for seniors and their families. At Solstice, Julia continues her meaningful work every day with residents.
A Buffalo native, Julia now resides in West Seneca with her three dogs. She enjoys being active outdoors and admiring the creative arts and live music.
Building Services Director
Jeff Reinhard brings over 20 years of experience working in maintenance and building services to Solstice Senior Living at East Amherst. In his previous position, Jeff worked on a construction team and conducted daily maintenance and mechanical repairs for a senior living community.
He is a Lockport local and enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children.
